Green kool-aid is how I like to describe the cult-like experience of raw food, or really any crazy diet. People always seem half-fascinated and half-horrified by my commitment to cleaning my colon, so I thought I'd share my experiences in excruciating detail. As with any train wreck, it's hard to look away. Nonetheless, I've managed to pick up some comrades along the way, as a result of my dear friends' curiosity and solidarity. Others interested in drinking the green kool-aid, holla.
Running Late is Bad For Raw
New Dilemma: Lunch
I have some raw hummus and a red pepper here, but I seriously meant to grab a whole bunch more stuff before leaving the house. I have a tone of flax crackers and delicious nut crackers, and I left them all at home!! I have an apple here too. Will that be enough? Can I get lara bars at a regular grocery store. There is a regular grocery store (and a target) within walking distance...thoughts?

You can get larabars at most grocery stores in the "natural foods" section. Even WP Jewel sells them and that place smells bad and gives me the creeps. Also, it's not that hard to find raw nuts. I bet you can even find a place with a salad bar. If there is a Whole Foods around, you are golden.
