drinking the green kool-aid

Green kool-aid is how I like to describe the cult-like experience of raw food, or really any crazy diet. People always seem half-fascinated and half-horrified by my commitment to cleaning my colon, so I thought I'd share my experiences in excruciating detail. As with any train wreck, it's hard to look away. Nonetheless, I've managed to pick up some comrades along the way, as a result of my dear friends' curiosity and solidarity. Others interested in drinking the green kool-aid, holla.

Day 9.

I went to the grocery store, so food is getting a little more interesting.

I also went out to lunch without too much trouble!

--frittata (eggs, kale, zucchini, still)
--small cup of lentil soup
--lemon rosemary chicken, hummus, salad with greens, tomato, cucumber and feta (NO PITA)
--chicken tagine with chickpeas, zucchini, green beans, tomatoes, fennel, lemon, 1/2 c. quinoa (I measured!)
--1/2 c. tofu/cocoa/peanut butter/agave pudding. It's pretty good.
--some white wine

I went to bosu interval and a crazy abs class today! It was awesome. I weighed in and really can't tell if anything is happening scale-wise. I think maybe I'll buy a digital scale this week?
