day2/3
so i didnt write anything yesterday, not that i didnt have anything to say, but was so freaking busy with a big pinup, talk20 today, theory paper and visual studies due tomorrow.
yesterday was HARD.
1st of all, the rice milk was a bit better after having settled and i poured off a lot of the extra water, but it still doesnt bind to the coffee like any dairy milk, or even soy. i guess its partially a fat content thing. whatever. my breakfast was delightfully unsatisfactory with 2 pieces of sprouted grain salt free "bread" with a bit of apricot preserves on top.
of course, i was a) in need of more caffeine (that's what happens with several days of 6 hours of sleep) b) hungry again--so i got an earl grey tea, which i would normally take with milk, but since that's not possible, i used some sugar in stead. had a banana as well. i was again, starving before noon, so i ate my lunch-more cauliflower and a tomato cuke lemon juice salad (so good!) with a tad of olive oil. i went to the farmers market and bought some green onions, some heirloom tomatoes (one of which i've already eaten) and a box of asian pears (!yummy!!).
of course, i'm hungry again,, like an hour later, so this time i have some dried apricots. then i'm hungry again like an hour later, so i have a piece of matzah with tomato and olive oil. tried to get some coffee but really didnt want to drink it black-i went to two places, neither had non-dairy AND non-soy "creamer" options. sad. so i had some raisins. the pinup was really hard bc everyone else had such salty, protein rich foods, that i've been totally craving.
hungry again, larabar. phew! that was at like 530 and it got me until about 9 or so when i could finally have dinner. thank god i'm not raw too, bc the chicken soup i made was like HEAVEN. rich, savory (evne without salt), with yummy carrots and celery, dill and parsley (from my moms garden). also had some salt free tortilla chips and another tomato. and 2 squares of TJs bittersweet chocolate. finally. full.
i must note, that the pee has been constant, i mean, i've already gone like 3 times today, and i havent even been up for 3 hours. i've alwasy drunk a lot of water, and i'm sure the soup doesn't help, but the salt-less ness is really having an effect. i feel like my skin is super dry as well, too. can i mention how often i've pooped in the last few days? a freaking LOT.
