day 1.
Yes, I'm eating raw food again. Ya'll know the drill: pooping, incessant hunger and oscillations between euphoria and crankiness. Why you ask? Because I love it. To be fair, I love pooping 3,4,5+ times a day, I love never having to make the decision about whether or not I should have another cookie (both answers are always wrong), I love having more energy on less sleep, and I don't know how many times I can say this, but I love a clean colon. What can you do? Don't make me defend myself or my kooky diet (I know it's crap, but it's a good way of cutting out all of the things that make me feel crappy in a systematic way that I wouldn't have the willpower for otherwise: namely wheat, dairy and sugar), don't buy me a beer, and don't say the word "cookie." Thanks.
I didn't plan ahead today, so my food options were limited and I was starving. I blame my unending hunger on skimping out during the day. In my experience, how you eat in the morning really does affect your food intake and hunger for the rest of the day. Nevertheless, I made it.
- 2 or 3 handfuls of raisins
- 3/4 cup of baby carrots
- smoothie: blueberries, banana, pineapple
- 2 bananas, each with almond butter (probably 1/4 c. total)
- cabbage salad (3 c.) with cilantro and a handful of dried apricots
- a few more (maybe a handful) dried apricots
- cocoa mole larabar
- some delicious veggie chips that were given to me by the manager of sunflower market for free! not sure if these are dehydrated or fried/baked, but they are delicious and he was trying to be helpful, so I'll look the other way. Thanks!
Not too bad, really. I took no supplements and am still deciding if I am going to be taking psyllium or not. To be honest, I hate it. I dry heave and wretch trying to get it down, but I love what it does for the consistency of my poop. I'll have to see if it's worth the sacrifice.
